This table lists camera models that worked with Cam2Com as of October 2010.

On Windows 7, run Cam2Com in "XP Service Pack 3" compatibility mode.
* This camera is supported but a firmware upgrade may be necessary.
** This camera officially is not supported, but there were reports that it works.

Canon has 3 different SDKs. Each camera can work only with one SDK. Cam2Com uses CD SDK.

Olympus has 4 different SDKs. Each camera can work only with one SDK. Cam2Com uses 2 of these SDKs - v. 2.0 ("Wheat" ) and 3.4.8 ("Rye").

Firmware upgrades for Olympus cameras can be done in a number of different ways:

  • Download firmware from the Olympus Download site.

  • Firmware files for C-7x0 cameras can be found in 700 series Yahoo Group.

  • For C-5060WZ, C-8080WZ, C-5050Z it can be found here.

  • In Olympus Master software go to Online Services menu and check the Update Camera function.

  • Send camera to Olympus Service center in your country.
